Thursday 29 May -
Monday 2 June
Every year since 2001, the
Institute of Aikido has
successfully run a Winter camp in
Margaret River
over
the Foundation Day long weekend in June. Usually, around 20-25
students from the Institute attend training, with the occasional
guest from the Margaret River region and / or interstate. We
welcome students from other schools and styles to join us at our
annual winter school.
|
 |
Winter school training consists of a combination of aikido basics,
higher level techniques and weapons training. Students of all
grades are encouraged to attend.
Students are required to bring their own bokken and jo. Senior
students should also bring shinai, tanto, ei and other weapons.
